This Symbolic Logic Tutorial was created originally for Professor Paul Gregory's Introduction to Logic course at Washington and Lee University. The application has three main views: Student View, Professor View, and Administrator View.

In Student View, a user can do practice exercises as well as take graded quizzes and see the statistics of their performance.

In Professor View, a user is able to create, edit, reset, import and delete quizzes as well as view statistics for a quiz, as well as for class and individual performances.

In Administrator View, a user is able to create, make changes, and delete courses and users; both professors and students.

The rest of this documentation explains in greater detail the process of creating the site and provides a user manual for each view. Use the header to navigate.

When a user first accesses the site, they are presented with a login screen. They enter their username and password that they received in an email and they are directed to the home page of either Student, Professor, or Administrator, depending on their authorization.

If the user forgets their password they simply must click the "Forgot Password?" link and they will be redirected to the following page:

Forgot Password

To get their new password, they must enter their username and click submit. A new password will be randomly generated and emailed to them. If the user wants to change this password, they must login and select the "Change Password" link. They then enter their new password and click submit.

For more information on the functionality of the site, click on the Student View, Professor View, and Administrator View links.
